Scot Pansing

Scot Pansing has a robust background in technology management, project leadership, and has core expertise in emerging technologies, including accountability, policy, safety, and ethics. He is currently a Product Manager for Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology, and his career has spanned over 20 years at companies like Capitol Records and Google. In and out of these roles, he has cultivated a rich background in policy communications, brand safety, project management, and artificial intelligence.

Scot is currently a member of the Dean’s Board of Advisors at UCLA Extension where he collaborates with the school’s leadership team to develop and manage a portfolio of academic and non-academic offerings. He also teaches the course "AI Safety, Policy, and Ethics" which has been offered for the past four academic quarters.
