Dr. Nellie Deutsch (Ed.D) has taught EFL in K-12 and higher education for over 40 years and has applied CALL since 1992. She’s the past chair of TESOL Computer Assisted Language Learning steering committee, a YouTuber (2006) with over 157,000 subscribers, a Moodle admin, and faculty at IMT MSc program at the Democritus University of Thrace at a distance on Moodle. She teaches Immersive (VR/AR) Experiences and Technologies.
Nellie founded Integrating Technology where she provides free online professional development programs on Integrating Technology Professional Development a Moodle Learning Management System in 2009 for educators worldwide. Her online courses focus on how teachers can integrate emerging technologies and AI into their teaching practices. Her teaching methods include learner autonomy, supportive peer-based learning, learner content creation via video-based presentations, game-based activities, and mindfulness. Nellie is also the founder of Connecting Online (2009) free annual 3-day online conference in February and Moodle MOOT Virtual Conference (MMVC) founded in 2011 free annual 3-day online conference in August.
